Wet Weather Reschedules

Hi all,

What crazy weather we have been having! Our aim at GCTA is to ensure our members get their value for money. Therefore as these past few rounds have been washed out, we want to explore every possible solution to catch up all these missed games.

To make this happen, we will be extending our season by 2 weeks. Therefore Grand Final day will be June 26th. Please see below our plan of attack;

Wednesday Round 3 (Feb 24th) --> Scheduled Wet Round (May 12th)

Thursday Round 5 (March 11th) --> Scheduled Wet Round (May 20th)

Wednesday Round 6 (March 17th) --> May 26th

Thursday Round 6 (March 18th) --> June 3rd

Wednesday Round 7 (March 24th) --> June 2nd

Thursday Round 7 (March 25th) --> June 10th

If there are to be any further wash outs this season, we will have to run double-headers on the one night.

With the new extended season, it creates only a 2 week turnaround between Season 1 and Season 2 commencing. It is important that all teams are aware of this and re-registers their team quickly so Season 2 can start smoothly.
